Our theme for this year’s reunion is “In Pursuit of family ties—-Strengthening the Bonds”
The reunion is scheduled for June 27, 28, 29 2025, so mark your calendars, and request your time off, as
we are looking forward to seeing all of you there.
Greeting Family:
The Nelson family reunion planning committee is very pleased to announce the details of our 2025
reunion. We have noticed that our family has grown and so this is our attempt to get everyone
together, share our history, and create new memories.
The 2025 Nelson Family reunion will be held in Charleston, S.C. Our headquarters will be the Hamilton
Inn and Suite. The hotel is just steps away from a variety of fine retailer, restaurants and right across
from the Wanamaker Park where the picnic will be held.
We are honored to plan and host our family reunion and hope this will be a semiannual event. We have
worked hard to put together a weekend of activities and entertainment that all will enjoy.
The family reunion registration will include the following: Family Meet and Great Reception, Family
Picnic, Family Banquet, Family Reunion tee-shirts and International African American Museum. Anyone
with a connection to the Nelson is invited, including good friends and neighbors.
The plans for the reunion are as follows:
Friday- Family meet and greet at Hampton Inn and Suite
Saturday- International African American Museum and picnic at Wanamaker Park
Sunday-Worship Service at _____TBA________________ banquet right after at ____TBA______
